Since the 1990s, my work has been focused on the creation of conceptually based socio-political objects and installations. In 1998, I began using a mixture of photographs, everyday objects and other uncommon items to create art pieces. Not quite satisfied with the limits of traditional mediums – such as oils, acrylics, gouache and watercolor – I began experimenting with different materials in combination. A constant mix of recycled and readily available materials has influenced the direction of my succeeding art pieces.
Most recent works have also seen a return to the basics of watercolor and gouache -- working with more color to produce a new body of work.
